Donate Your Car Sacramento

I saw in the news that people donated food clothes and other essentials to the homeless, where can i go and contribute in Sacramento Ca.

I’m looking for a legit organization and for them to pick it up and drive it away with no cost to me. I live in NJ.

i want to donate clothing and such to Haiti but I live in Sacramento and can’t find a place here. Can anyone help me with local areas or site or something? Please and thank you.

A friend of mine is in need of a vehicle but cannot afford one. She is 23 years old and has 3 children- twin sons age 6, and a 5 month old daughter. When she was 17 years old, she was raped and 9 months later, her boys were born. Anyways, she needs a car so that she can go back to work, as well as take her sons to school. She cannot afford a car because 2 months ago, her apartment was set on fire by her ex, and she lost everything. All her money went toward replacing her stuff and getting a new place. Anyone know of any charities that would help her aquire a vehicle?
She lives in the California, in the SF Bay area to be more precise.

on your tax return? If not, what percentage can you deduct? Is this the same as the recent ruling that cars donated to charity can only deduct the amount received at auction?

will i be getting cash then or does it just reduce my taxable income by the amount the car is worth or does it reduce the amount of taxes I owe the next time I file my taxes in April. How does one determine the amount the car is worth if was not actually sold. can anybody out there speak from experience???

I need to make a few bucks and i heard that you can by donating plasma. The problem is that all i can find are not-for-profit donation centers. Is there any sort of resource guide for this sort of thing?

My Husband and I have a 89 Subaru and we want to donate it to charity.
It seams that many of the car donation sites do not operate in Alaska (Anchorage).
Do you know which charity site operates also “up here”?

I’m considering donating my car to a charitable organization of some kind.. I’m not really sure where to start. I know you can qualify for a tax credit but how much, and who should I contact.

I have 2 older bicycles that need some clean-up work that I would like to donate. Any ideas???
