Does anyone know the site where people donate cars to individuals if they come pick them up. It is similar to freecycle but it deals with cars. I have viewed the site but lost it. Pls help. Thx.

When I called some local blood banks like bloodsource they said they do not Pay.

Will I get a bigger deduciton by donating to one charity instead of another or are they all the same (in terms of taxes)?

A friend of mine is in need of a vehicle but cannot afford one. She is 23 years old and has 3 children- twin sons age 6, and a 5 month old daughter. When she was 17 years old, she was raped and 9 months later, her boys were born. Anyways, she needs a car so that she can go back to work, as well as take her sons to school. She cannot afford a car because 2 months ago, her apartment was set on fire by her ex, and she lost everything. All her money went toward replacing her stuff and getting a new place. Anyone know of any charities that would help her aquire a vehicle?

on your tax return? If not, what percentage can you deduct? Is this the same as the recent ruling that cars donated to charity can only deduct the amount received at auction?

will i be getting cash then or does it just reduce my taxable income by the amount the car is worth or does it reduce the amount of taxes I owe the next time I file my taxes in April. How does one determine the amount the car is worth if was not actually sold. can anybody out there speak from experience???
